Edge Health is a marketing company that assists in spreading healthcare awareness through quality TV programs and events. The company was founded by Mike Burg, a renowned television producer from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Mr. Burg has over 25 years of experience in sports and entertainment television. He was involved in the creation, production, and promotion of various events and shows like the Teen Choice Awards on FOX, the Kids’ Choice Awards on Nickelodeon, Ice Wars on CBS, and ACC and SEC Football and Basketball for the Jefferson-Pilot Sports Networks. Aside from the said mainstream shows, he was also involved in a variety of collegiate and Olympic sports-related events. Mr. Burg is also considered an expert in utilizing celebrities’ influence in delivering specific messages to the public.

Although Mike Burg can be considered the mastermind of Edge Health, the company’s success will not be possible without its other team members. The other people behind Edge Health’s feat as a company include:


Fred Boucherle. The vice president for Business Affairs and Operations, Mr. Boucherle has worked with various sports and entertainment companies like Jefferson-Pilot Sport, specializing in pre-production planning, marketing, finance, and logistics.

Pamela Hawthorne. As the chief marketing officer, Ms. Hawthorne is responsible for the sales and marketing efforts of all Edge Health properties. She has over three decades of experience in the field, and has handled key positions for various networks like CBS and ABC.

Gregory Brown. Mr. Brown acts as the vice president for finance. He has a decade of experience as CFO and COO for various health and technology firms such as BioForce Nanosciences. He is also experienced in healthcare and technology business ventures.

Phillip Gussman. Mr. Gussman is the vice president for health advocacy of Edge Health. He has a proven track record in management, event planning, and fundraising for numerous health advocacy organizations.
